Position Summary:

The Training Lead holds a critical role in assuring that all training initiatives succeed. This role is responsible that all key stakeholders meet their obligations with planning, development and delivery of a comprehensive training program to support the deployment and adoption of the Journey to the Cloud (MS365) project for our member hospitals. 
The Training Lead will play a critical role with being a liaison between TransForm and the adoption sites. They will socialize the training strategy amongst stakeholders, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes, with the objectives of enhancing health care providers’ user experience, skills, performance, productivity and quality of work and ultimately, enhancing the patient experience.


Qualifications:

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 
• Ensures that a detailed and nimble tactical and logistical work plan to successfully execute the training strategy within the timeframe required and works with project leadership to integrate the training work plan into the overall project work plan. 
• Work collaboratively with the sites to assess and identify the training needs of end users, developing a training strategy, establishes a curriculum, and leads the development of training materials. 
• Consults and coaches members of the team, clinical program areas and corporate departments to identify and address resistance and training readiness challenges associated with the implementation of the MS365 products. 
• Monitors and reports on training milestone achievements over the initial implementation and product sustainability. 
• Identifies and analyzes risks and prepares risk mitigation tactics with respect to training. 
• Works with leadership and management teams to establish and maintain the commitment necessary to address workforce transition challenges that might arise. 
• Partners with the communications and change teams in the design, development, delivery and management of training materials/modalities to support the change and adoption strategy.
• Supports the development and delivery of the training program and subsequent stabilization period and successful adoption for TransForm’s customers. 
• Supports, coaches and engages with senior leaders, managers and supervisors throughout the J2C Program in support of the training strategies. 
• Facilitates working sessions with the hospital’s training subject matter experts to ensure their unique training needs are met.


Education and/or Certification:

MUST- HAVES: 
• Minimum three (3) year diploma in education, adult learning, organizational development, human resources, or a related discipline. Preferred: an undergraduate degree in organizational development, human resources, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five to six (5-6) years of experience as an adult learning training professional, preferably within a hospital or health care environment and ideally, with respect to implementation of MS0365 and/or share point/cloud deployment and training preferred 
• Experience working with and training a wide variety of health care providers (physicians, nurses, allied health, administrative, etc.) 
OTHER CONDITIONS: 
• Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position: exposed to stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines 
• Must be able to travel within the Southwestern Ontario area, when required 
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required
